GETC 2027 — TERMS & CONDITIONS OF ATTENDANCE AND TICKET PURCHASE

Part II applies in addition to, and does not replace, Part I.

GDPR & DATA PROTECTION AT A GLANCE

Registering to attend, creating a Platform account, and using in-app features (agenda, networking, Deal Room) involve processing personal data under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD). The lawful basis for most of this processing is performance of the contract formed by this document; see the Privacy & Cookie Policy for full detail, including your rights and how to exercise them. Buying a ticket (Part II) additionally means sharing identification, contact and payment-related data with GETC and its payment provider, processed on the basis of performance of the sales contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and legal/accounting obligations (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR); payment-card data itself is handled by the payment provider under PCI DSS and is not stored by GETC.

PART I — TERMS OF ATTENDANCE

RECITALS

A. This Part I of these Terms & Conditions ("these Terms") governs attendance at the Global Energy Transition Congress 2027 ("the Congress") and use of the GETC 2027 website and participant app together ("the Platform"), regardless of the access route by which a Participant attends. B. By registering an account, accepting a ticket, invitation, or accreditation, or by attending the Congress, the Participant agrees to be bound by these Terms, in addition to Part II (Ticket Terms & Purchase Conditions, where a ticket was purchased), the Privacy & Cookie Policy, and the Accessibility / Code of Conduct document. C. Where these Terms conflict with a signed exhibitor, sponsor, partner, or speaker agreement, the signed agreement prevails for the matters it specifically covers; these Terms continue to apply to all other matters.

ARTICLE 1 — DEFINITIONS AND INTERPRETATION

1.1 "Congress" means Global Energy Transition Congress 2027 (GETC 2027), 9–10 April 2027, Valencia, Spain, including its exhibition, Awards programme, side events, and any official virtual/hybrid component. 1.2 "Platform" means the GETC 2027 website and the official GETC 2027 participant app together. 1.3 "Participant" means any individual attending or accessing the Congress or the Platform under any access route (ticket, invitation, accreditation, sponsor allocation, speaker status, exhibitor personnel, or another approved route). 1.4 "Credential" means the personal QR code issued through the app that a Participant's account uses for physical access control at the venue. 1.5 "Role Flags" means the access permissions attached to a Credential based on ticket tier, accreditation, or approved role. 1.6 "Organiser", "GETC", "we" and "us" mean [FULL LEGAL NAME OF ORGANISER], as identified in the Legal Notice. 1.7 Interpretation: headings are for convenience only; "including" means "including without limitation"; references to "writing" include e-mail and in-app notifications unless stated otherwise.

ARTICLE 2 — SCOPE AND ACCEPTANCE

2.1 These Terms apply to every Participant regardless of access route, and to every use of the Platform in connection with the Congress. 2.2 The programme, speakers, room allocations and operational formats of the Congress may evolve as the event is developed; the version of these Terms and of the published programme current at the relevant time governs. 2.3 A Participant who does not agree to these Terms must not register, accept a Credential, or attend the Congress.

ARTICLE 3 — ELIGIBILITY AND REGISTRATION

3.1 The Congress is a professional, business-to-business event. Save where a specific programme expressly admits minors under defined safeguarding conditions, Participants must be at least 18 years old. 3.2 A Participant must provide accurate, current and complete registration information and must promptly update it if it changes. GETC may refuse or cancel a registration that it reasonably believes to be inaccurate, fraudulent, or made in breach of these Terms. 3.3 Registration approval for Investor, Government, Media, Speaker, Exhibitor, Sponsor, and University/Innovation roles is subject to the applicable accreditation review process described in the relevant application form and the layered notice referenced in the Privacy & Cookie Policy.

ARTICLE 4 — ADMISSION

4.1 Admission to the Congress is subject to a valid personal Credential, registration status, applicable Role Flags, security screening, venue capacity, and compliance with event rules and any venue-specific house rules published separately. 4.2 GETC may implement capacity controls (including timed entry, queuing, or room-specific caps) for safety or operational reasons, which may affect a Participant's ability to enter a specific session at a specific time even where that Participant holds a valid Credential.

ARTICLE 5 — ONE ACCOUNT, ONE CREDENTIAL

5.1 Each Participant must hold one personal account, shared by the website and the app, and one Credential issued through the app. 5.2 Ticket tier and approved Role Flags determine the permissions attached to that Credential across both the venue and the in-app features (agenda, networking, Deal Room). 5.3 Sharing, duplicating, lending, or transferring a Credential without GETC's prior authorisation is a material breach of these Terms and may result in immediate revocation without refund, without prejudice to any other remedy available to GETC.

ARTICLE 6 — ACCESS IS NOT GUARANTEED SEATING

Access to a stage, room, or zone does not guarantee a seat or place at a particular session, even where the app shows the session as bookmarked or added to a personal agenda. Capacity, security, programme, and protocol rules may apply and may result in a Participant being unable to enter a specific room at a specific time; this does not constitute a breach of these Terms by GETC.

ARTICLE 7 — RESTRICTED AREAS

Government, protocol, investor, VIP, media, backstage, and other restricted areas may require additional Role Flags beyond a standard ticket. A public ticket or VIP status does not, by itself, grant access to every restricted format; access to such areas remains at GETC's reasonable discretion, exercised for security, protocol, or operational reasons.

ARTICLE 8 — PROGRAMME CHANGES

8.1 GETC may change speakers, session timing, room allocations, programme formats, exhibitors, or operational arrangements where reasonably necessary, including for reasons of speaker availability, safety, venue constraints, or force majeure (see Article 18). 8.2 Material changes will be reflected in the website programme and the app agenda as soon as reasonably practicable. GETC is not liable for losses arising from such changes except to the extent liability cannot lawfully be excluded under Article 17.

ARTICLE 9 — CODE OF CONDUCT

9.1 Participants must behave professionally on-site and within the Platform, including in networking messages, meeting requests, comments, and any public profile content, and must not: (a) harass, threaten, or discriminate against another person on any protected ground; (b) disrupt sessions, exhibits, or event operations; (c) damage venue property, equipment, or exhibits; (d) misuse, duplicate, or share a Credential (see Article 5.3); (e) scrape, spam, or send unauthorised mass communications through the app; (f) breach security instructions, venue rules, or applicable law; (g) bring prohibited or dangerous items onto the venue. 9.2 This Article applies together with, and is elaborated further in, the Accessibility / Code of Conduct document, which sets out the fuller behavioural, safety, accessibility, and enforcement framework, including how to report a concern and the applicable sanctions ladder.

ARTICLE 10 — HEALTH, SAFETY AND INSURANCE

10.1 Participants must comply with all health and safety instructions issued on-site, including emergency and evacuation instructions, which take precedence over any in-app guidance. 10.2 GETC strongly recommends that Participants arrange their own travel, health, and cancellation insurance for the Congress; the ticket price does not include such insurance unless expressly stated. 10.3 GETC will maintain event liability insurance appropriate to an event of this scale and nature; the scope and limits of that insurance will be confirmed by Finance/Legal before the Congress and do not, by themselves, expand GETC's contractual liability beyond Article 17.

ARTICLE 11 — INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND SPEAKER CONTENT

11.1 Speakers retain ownership of their pre-existing materials (slides, data, trademarks) unless otherwise agreed in a separate speaker agreement; GETC receives only the rights needed to display, record, stream, archive, or promote session content as described in that agreement and in the Media, Photography & Recording Notice (Part III of the Privacy & Cookie Policy). 11.2 GETC does not assume that a speaker's slides or materials may be distributed publicly, reproduced, or archived beyond the session itself without the speaker's separate permission. 11.3 Exhibitors remain responsible for ensuring they hold the rights to any logos, product visuals, videos, and demonstration content they upload to or display through the Platform, and indemnify GETC against third-party claims arising from a breach of this warranty. 11.4 Awards applicants are subject to the intellectual-property warranty set out in the Awards Rules & Eligibility document.

ARTICLE 12 — USER-GENERATED PROFILES AND NETWORKING

12.1 The app may contain profile information supplied by Participants for networking purposes. Participants are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of the information they provide and for any content they post, including messages sent through the networking or Deal Room features. 12.2 Profiles and messaging must not be used for harassment, scraping, spam, or unauthorised mass marketing. Contact permissions follow the Role Flag logic described in Article 7 and the Participant's own privacy settings. 12.3 By submitting profile or messaging content, a Participant grants GETC a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display that content within the Platform for its intended purpose (e.g. showing a profile to other Participants under the applicable visibility settings). This licence does not transfer ownership and ends, for future display purposes, when the content is deleted by the Participant, subject to any retention required for security or legal purposes. 12.4 GETC reserves the right to remove, without prior notice, any content that is unlawful, abusive, misleading, or a security threat, and to suspend or terminate the account of a Participant responsible for such content. 12.5 The final Terms will define whether, and under what conditions, Participants may export or download other Participants' data, with safeguards to prevent unauthorised scraping or mass export.

ARTICLE 13 — EXHIBITOR, PARTNER AND SPONSOR INTERFACE

13.1 Descriptions of exhibitor, partner, and sponsorship packages on the website are informational only until incorporated into a signed order or contract; exact stand dimensions, deliverables, branding, badge allocations, VIP/Gala entitlements, speaking formats, payment milestones, and cancellation rules belong in that signed contract, not in these Terms. 13.2 Sponsorship or exhibition participation does not alter independent Awards scoring (see the Awards Rules & Eligibility document) and does not automatically guarantee editorial programme participation. 13.3 Country Street or similar branded-zone participation must align with the published floor plan, brand guidelines, and operational approvals of the Organiser.

ARTICLE 14 — THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

The Platform relies on third-party providers for functions such as payments, badge/check-in, networking/matchmaking, and analytics. GETC is not responsible for the acts or omissions of such providers except to the extent it has failed to exercise reasonable care in selecting or overseeing them, without prejudice to any statutory liability that cannot be excluded.

ARTICLE 15 — SUSPENSION, REMOVAL AND REVOCATION

15.1 GETC may refuse admission, suspend app access, or revoke a Credential, with immediate effect and without refund, where reasonably necessary for safety, security, fraud prevention, Credential misuse, serious misconduct, or material breach of these Terms. 15.2 Where operationally feasible, GETC will give the Participant an opportunity to be heard before taking action under this Article, except where immediate action is necessary for safety or security reasons.

ARTICLE 16 — PERSONAL BELONGINGS

Participants remain responsible for their own personal property brought onto the venue. GETC is not liable for loss, theft, or damage to personal property except to the extent liability cannot lawfully be excluded.

ARTICLE 17 — LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

17.1 To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, GETC's aggregate liability to a Participant arising from or in connection with these Terms and attendance at the Congress is limited to the amount paid by that Participant for their ticket (if any). 17.2 Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for: (a) death or personal injury caused by negligence; (b) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; (c) gross negligence or wilful misconduct; (d) any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under Spanish or EU law, including mandatory consumer-protection rights. 17.3 GETC is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of business, loss of opportunity, or loss of anticipated savings, except where such exclusion is not permitted by applicable law.

ARTICLE 18 — FORCE MAJEURE

Neither party is liable for a failure or delay in performing its obligations under these Terms to the extent that failure or delay results from an event beyond its reasonable control, including natural disaster, pandemic, war, terrorism, governmental action, or failure of public infrastructure. This Article does not, by itself, determine the financial consequences of a Congress cancellation or postponement, which are addressed in Part II (Article 30) and must not be read to override mandatory consumer rights.

ARTICLE 19 — COMPLAINTS AND ONLINE DISPUTE RESOLUTION

Participants who are consumers may access the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr for disputes arising from an online transaction, without prejudice to the right to bring proceedings before the competent courts.

ARTICLE 20 — GENERAL PROVISIONS

20.1 Entire agreement. This Part I, together with Part II (Ticket Terms & Purchase Conditions), the Privacy & Cookie Policy, and the Accessibility / Code of Conduct document, constitute the entire agreement between the Participant and GETC regarding attendance at the Congress and use of the Platform, superseding prior discussions on that subject, without prejudice to any separately signed contract referenced in Article 13.1. 20.2 Severability. If a provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, that provision is severed and the remainder continues in full force and effect. 20.3 No waiver. A failure by GETC to enforce a provision of these Terms is not a waiver of its right to do so later. 20.4 Assignment. GETC may assign or transfer its rights and obligations under these Terms in connection with a reorganisation of the Congress or its operating entity; a Participant may not assign their rights under these Terms without GETC's consent. 20.5 Notices. Notices to a Participant may be given by e-mail to the address on file or by in-app notification; notices to GETC must be given to the contact details in the Legal Notice. 20.6 Amendments. GETC may amend these Terms to reflect operational, legal, or regulatory changes; the version in force at the relevant time, identified by version number and date, governs, and material changes affecting a Participant's rights will be communicated in advance where reasonably practicable. 20.7 Survival. Articles reasonably intended to survive termination of a Participant's access (including Intellectual Property, Limitation of Liability, and Governing Law) survive. 20.8 Language. These Terms are drafted in English; a Spanish version will be published and, in the event of a discrepancy for a Spanish consumer, the version more favourable to the consumer under applicable law prevails.

ARTICLE 21 — GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

These Terms are governed by Spanish law. Subject to any mandatory consumer-protection forum rules that cannot be excluded, disputes will be submitted to the courts of Valencia, Spain.

PART II — TICKET TERMS & PURCHASE CONDITIONS

RECITALS

A. This Part II ("this Part") governs the purchase of a ticket to the Congress through the GETC 2027 website, and the use of the resulting Credential in the GETC 2027 participant app. B. This Part applies in addition to, and does not replace, Part I (Terms of Attendance), which governs conduct and access at the Congress once a ticket has been purchased. C. Because ticket purchases are made online by consumers as well as businesses, this Part is drafted with reference to Spanish and EU consumer-protection law, without prejudice to a business purchaser's own contractual status.

ARTICLE 22 — DEFINITIONS

Terms not defined here have the meaning given in Part I. "Order" means a confirmed ticket purchase made through the website checkout. "Credential" means the QR code issued in the app once an Order is confirmed and the corresponding account is activated. "Consumer" means a Participant who purchases a ticket for purposes outside their trade, business, craft, or profession, within the meaning of Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007.

ARTICLE 23 — SOLD TICKET TYPES

23.1 The public GETC 2027 ticket architecture consists of the Visitor Pass, Delegate Pass, Executive Pass, and VIP Leaders Pass, each purchasable at website checkout. 23.2 Investor, Government, Media, Speaker, Exhibitor, Sponsor, and approved University / Innovation roles are separate access or accreditation categories, granted after application review rather than checkout, and are governed by their own accreditation terms in addition to this Part where applicable. 23.3 The specific inclusions, exclusions, and access scope of each ticket type are as published on the Tickets page at the time of purchase and form part of the Order.

ARTICLE 24 — PRE-CONTRACTUAL INFORMATION AND PRICES

24.1 Before completing an Order, GETC will provide the pre-contractual information required by Spanish consumer law, including: the main characteristics of the ticket; the total price including taxes, or the manner in which the price is calculated; the payment, delivery and performance arrangements; and the existence and conditions of any right of withdrawal (see Article 25). 24.2 The price displayed at website checkout is the applicable price for the selected ticket at the time of purchase. Checkout will clearly state whether VAT/applicable taxes and any mandatory fees are included in the displayed price or added separately before payment is taken. 24.3 Prices may change over time (e.g. early-bird pricing moving to standard pricing) but the price applicable to a given Order is fixed at the moment that Order is confirmed under Article 29.

ARTICLE 25 — WITHDRAWAL RIGHT FOR LEISURE SERVICES

25.1 Under Article 103(l) of Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007, the statutory right of withdrawal generally applicable to distance contracts does not apply to contracts for the provision of services related to leisure activities where the contract provides for a specific date or period of performance, which is expected to be the case for a Congress ticket tied to the fixed Congress dates. 25.2 This exception must be confirmed by Spanish counsel against the exact legal qualification of a GETC ticket before it is relied upon at checkout, and the checkout flow must not state that a Consumer "has no rights" — only that the specific withdrawal right does not apply for the reason given in Article 25.1, without prejudice to any other consumer right (e.g. rights arising from a defective or misdescribed service).

ARTICLE 26 — CHECKOUT DISCLOSURES AND ACCEPTANCE

26.1 Before payment, checkout will show: the exact ticket name and current price; whether VAT/taxes and mandatory fees are included; key access rights and material exclusions; the event date and location; the refund/cancellation position under Article 30; links to this Part and to Part I; and privacy information. 26.2 Acceptance of this Part and Part I is a mandatory checkbox, separate from any optional marketing-consent checkbox, which is never pre-ticked and never bundled into the mandatory acceptance. 26.3 A summary of the Order (ticket type, price, buyer details) will be presented for the purchaser's review before the payment is submitted, consistent with the "double-click" confirmation practice recommended under Spanish e-commerce law.

ARTICLE 27 — PAYMENT METHODS AND CURRENCY

27.1 Payment is processed by GETC's payment provider in the currency and using the payment methods displayed at checkout. GETC does not store full payment-card data; such data is processed by the payment provider under its own PCI-DSS-compliant systems. 27.2 Instalment or deferred-payment options, if offered (e.g. for group or corporate bookings), will be described separately and are subject to the payment provider's own terms.

ARTICLE 28 — PERSONAL CREDENTIAL

Every Order is linked to an individual Participant account and to the Credential issued in the app once that account is activated. Tickets are personal; any transfer or name-change is permitted only where expressly allowed by the final published transfer policy, and a permitted transfer moves the Credential to the new account rather than duplicating it. Unauthorised resale is addressed in Article 33.

ARTICLE 29 — VIP LEADERS PASS

VIP Leaders availability is limited. The central VIP/Gala pool includes commercial, sponsor, protocol, and invited allocations drawn from the same shared inventory. A confirmed VIP allocation includes one Gala Dinner seat unless expressly stated otherwise, reflected as a Role Flag on the app Credential.

ARTICLE 30 — REFUNDS, CANCELLATION AND POSTPONEMENT

30.1 Refunds. All ticket sales are final and non-refundable except where a refund is required by applicable law (including Article 25's withdrawal analysis once finalised) or expressly provided in this Part. 30.2 Event cancellation. If GETC is fully cancelled and cannot be delivered in any form, the remedy available to ticket holders — full refund, credit toward a future edition, or another remedy — will be defined in the final Ticket Terms before sales open, and will not purport to override a Consumer's mandatory right to a refund where the service cannot be provided at all. 30.3 Postponement. If GETC is postponed to a new date, the final terms will state whether an existing ticket carries over to the new date automatically or requires action from the ticket holder, and within what timeframe a ticket holder unable to attend the new date may request a refund. 30.4 Venue or schedule change. A change of venue within Valencia, or a reasonable adjustment to the programme schedule that does not materially change the nature of the Congress, is not automatically treated as a cancellation. 30.5 Force majeure. Where GETC is prevented from taking place because of circumstances beyond the organiser's reasonable control (force majeure), the final terms will address the applicable remedy without attempting to override mandatory consumer rights that cannot be excluded. 30.6 Participant costs. Travel, hotel, visa, and other incidental costs incurred by a Participant are separate from the ticket price and are the Participant's own responsibility unless expressly included in a written package; GETC recommends Participants arrange appropriate travel/cancellation insurance (see Article 10.2). 30.7 Refund mechanics. Where a refund is due under this Article, it will be made using the original payment method within the timeframe required by applicable law from the date the right to a refund arises.

ARTICLE 31 — UPGRADES

Permitted upgrades are subject to inventory and the published upgrade policy, and may be purchased through the website or the app account area. Digital upgrade availability may close three days before the Congress or earlier if inventory is exhausted. An upgrade constitutes a new Order for the price difference and is subject to this Part.

ARTICLE 32 — NETWORKING IS NOT A GUARANTEE OF MEETINGS

Networking rights, exercised through the app's matchmaking and meeting-request features, allow a Participant to initiate permitted requests. They do not guarantee that another Participant, speaker, or exhibitor will accept a meeting, message, or interview request, and no refund is available on the basis that a desired meeting did not take place.

ARTICLE 33 — FRAUD, CHARGEBACK, RESALE AND MISUSE

33.1 GETC may suspend a website account or app Credential, or investigate transactions reasonably suspected of fraud, unauthorised resale, payment abuse, or misuse, subject to applicable law and without prejudice to any right of the payment provider to independently investigate such transactions. 33.2 Unauthorised commercial resale of tickets (i.e. resale above face value, or resale through a channel not authorised by GETC) is prohibited and may result in cancellation of the ticket and Credential without refund to the reseller, without prejudice to the rights of a good-faith purchaser to be addressed in the final policy.

ARTICLE 34 — PAYMENT CONFIRMATION

An Order is confirmed only after successful payment and issuance of the corresponding order/ticket confirmation, which activates the matching account and app Credential. The order confirmation, together with this Part, constitutes the durable-medium contract confirmation required under Spanish consumer law.

ARTICLE 35 — COMPLAINTS AND ONLINE DISPUTE RESOLUTION

A Consumer with a complaint about an Order may contact GETC using the details in the Legal Notice and, if unresolved, may access the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr, without prejudice to the right to bring proceedings before the competent courts.

ARTICLE 36 — GENERAL PROVISIONS

36.1 Entire agreement. This Part, together with Part I and the order confirmation, constitute the entire agreement regarding a ticket purchase. 36.2 Severability. If a provision of this Part is held invalid or unenforceable, that provision is severed and the remainder continues in full force and effect. 36.3 No waiver. A failure by GETC to enforce a provision is not a waiver of its right to do so later. 36.4 Amendments. This Part may be updated for future ticket batches; the version accepted at the time of a specific Order governs that Order. 36.5 Language. This Part is drafted in English; a Spanish version will be published and, for a Consumer, the version more favourable to the Consumer under applicable law prevails in the event of a discrepancy.

ARTICLE 37 — GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

This Part is governed by Spanish law. Subject to any mandatory consumer-protection forum rules that cannot be excluded, disputes arising from a ticket purchase will be submitted to the courts of Valencia, Spain.

LEGAL REVIEW NOTE

Article 17 (limitation of liability) and Article 18 (force majeure) must be drafted and finalised by Spanish counsel; the carve-outs in Article 17.2 are a starting position, not a final clause. The user-generated-content licence in Article 12.3 and the exhibitor-interface disclaimer in Article 13 should be reviewed against the final commercial contracts to avoid inconsistency. The insurance statement in Article 10.3 must be confirmed against the actual policy GETC obtains. Article 25 (withdrawal right) and Article 30 (refunds/cancellation/postponement/force majeure) are the highest-risk sections of Part II and must be finalised by Spanish counsel before ticket sales open, including the exact application of the leisure-service withdrawal exception to a GETC ticket, and the durable-medium confirmation requirements under Article 34. Transfer/ name-change rules, and how a transfer moves the Credential between accounts in the app, must be decided before launch. Article 33.2 (resale) needs a final policy on how a good-faith secondary purchaser is treated.
